Health Ministry and Red Crescent Discuss Enhancing Healthcare Services in Syria

Damascus, SANA – Health Minister Dr. Musab al-Ali discussed with Dr. Hazem Bakleh, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), and accompanying delegation, ways to enhance cooperation and coordinate efforts in providing health and humanitarian services to citizens across the country.

The two sides discussed the importance of cooperation in the fields of ambulance services, rehabilitation of health facilities, developing automation in the health sector as an essential part of the national health system, and the necessity of coordination, transition to digital transformation, and development of health services.

Minister Al-Ali stressed the importance of raising the level of the ambulance system and unifying it under the supervision of the Ministry to achieve a rapid and advanced response that reaches every home in Syria.

For his part, Dr. Bakleh stressed the organization’s commitment to the vision set by the Ministry of Health as an essential national partner in humanitarian and health work, and that the primary goal of the work is to support the national health system.
