Damascus, SANA-Gold prices in the local Syrian market have dropped by 20,000 SYP compared to yesterday’s rate of 960,000 SYP per gram of 21-karat gold.

In its latest bulletin published Tuesday on its official Facebook page, the Goldsmiths Syndicate set the price of 21-karat gold at 940,000 SYP for selling and 920,000 SYP for buying.

Meanwhile, the price of 18-karat gold was listed at 805,000 SYP for selling and 785,000 SYP for buying.

The Syndicate emphasized the importance of adhering to the official pricing and clearly displaying prices at shopfronts.
