Damascus, SANA- Economy and Industry Minister, Dr. Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar discussed with Italian Chargé d’Affaires in Damascus, Stefano Ravagnan, ways to boost economic cooperation between Syria and Italy.

The meeting addressed several proposed projects in the fields of industry and trade, as well as mechanisms for increasing Italian investments in the Syrian market, which would contribute to supporting the national economy.

Minister al-Shaar stressed the importance of expanding trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, pointing to the significant potential that can be built upon to achieve common interests.

For his part, Ravagnan expressed his country’s interest in developing economic relations with Syria, emphasizing the importance of joint projects in creating job opportunities and promoting sustainable development.

Both sides expressed optimism that these efforts would contribute to strengthening economic relations between the two countries and opening new horizons for future cooperation.
